About this deal

Only by working together will you defeat the final challenge. From the depths of Icecrown come two of the Scourge's most powerful lieutenants -- fierce val'kyr, winged harbingers of the Lich King! —Tirion Fordring I loved Persephone in here, she is sweet and kind and loving and even if she makes mistakes, they are very human (though she is a god) which makes the story better and I did indeed cry during that one scene with Lexa. Doorway Strategy: Have the entire raid positioned in the entrance, with 2-3 soakers (typically hunters) in a semi-circle beyond them. Significantly fewer orbs spawn from the wall here due to the gap where the door is. You can help to intercept a Concentrated Essence orb if it involves minimal movement that won't move either boss. This book will go down in history as the worst sequel in the history of the universe. What in the hell did I just read?

Fjola Lightbane begins to cast a powerful vortex of Light. Channels for 5 seconds inflicting 15600 to 16400 damage every 1 sec for 5 sec. Hades was delicious. It’s Persephone I had a problem with, or rather this version of Persephone. She was, um, annoying. For one, she was a reporter—a terrible one at that; two, she constantly doubted and misjudged poor Hades to be the worst of the worst despite being proven otherwise; three, I didn’t like the mother daughter relationship she had with Demeter. Hecate was my favorite character, and I loved the Underworld. It's getting nowhere, just same old shit from Persephone & same old shit for Hades to deal with. It's getting monotonous. The author focuses too much on the romance on the first book than coming up with remarkable plot. However, I can't tell if the second book is an effort to come up with something more interesting but it kinda fails. I REALLY TRULY hope the third book would be better. I never felt so mad as I did with a female lead character.A blizzard completely covers New Greece, preventing mortals from continuing their everyday lives. Persephone knows she has to put a stop to this but refuses to give up her engagement. Instead, she is driven to the ancient gods who are the only ones who can help her create her perfect future. Despite her title as Goddess of Spring, petals and wildlife shrivel under her touch. This, her entrapment and her growing feelings for Hades cause Persephone to make a hard choice.

It feels almost audacious to divide this book into parts. There is not enough happening here for parts. Shield of Darkness — A Shield of Darkness that protects the sister from harm absorbing 175,000 (Heroic 300,000) damage and prevents spell interruption for 15 sec. Unable to speak a word without one of her brothers dying, Shiori searches for her crane brothers and discovers a conspiracy against the throne along the way. A Touch of Ruin es un libro que, definitivamente, no le va a gustar a todo el mundo, pero yo lo amé. I feel like this whole book was one giant mess. After reading book 1 and loving it and gave it 5 stars even, I wonder what the hell happened to the characters in this book. Mainly Persephone. I struggled each chapter to get to the end and it was arduous. I feel like the conclusion or the development they got from book 1 got swiped clean and now they have to build it up again.

Customer reviews

My issue is that she clearly didn’t employ ANY sort of editor in the process. I can’t speak on the textual version, but even the audiobook was rife with awkward word choice and sentence structure, not to mention moments like this: Although Scarlett St. Clair is a fairly new author, her books have already attracted fans and got fantasy readers talking. Her brilliant blend of mythology, fantasy, and romance is guaranteed to keep you interested and the way she constructs relationships will send you on an emotional rollercoaster.

A Shield of Darkness that protects the sister from harm absorbing 700000/1200000 damage and prevents spell interruption for 16 sec. This is something that Scarlett St. Clair can't be blamed for, but bears mentioning: the narrator of this audiobook has three major flaws, as far as I'm concerned. A) Her male voices all sound the same: gravelly and molasses-slow. Hades sounds like Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith. B) She over-enunciates almost everything. C) She gets into the sex scenes. Like. REALLY gets into the sex scenes.St. Clair is an Oklahoma resident, proudly proclaiming her status as a citizen of the Muscogee Nation, a Native American tribe situated in Okmulgee, which is east of Oklahoma City. The sassy best friend with more personality than the protagonist and love interest combined! Woahhh, mind-blowing! 😩 Somehow in her desperation, she calls for help from a strange boy who promises to help her, but for a price. There is more to be discovered about this boy as well as an ancient curse that could stop the king and his hunt forever.
